Temporary Campsite (TC) rally Information

13th January 2023 - Temporary Campsites (TC) rally information.
​​The group has currently planned 18 rallies for 2023. SUBJECT TO A NEW AVON GROUP COMMITTEE BEING FORMED AT THE EGM ON 14th JANUARY 2023 at 11 O'Clock - Baileys Coury Activity Centre, Bradley Stoke, BS32 8BH.

Hosts/Co Hosts will be required for these proposed TC rallies.
2023 TC rallies will each be subject to Covid 19 restrictions applicable at the time, and currently still need to be prebooked.
Please check the "Information Booking Sheets" for each rally.

​Please show consideration to our volunteer hosts by not arriving at rallies earlier than the start time shown. This is particularly important where the venue is at a school. If no times are shown assume a 12 Noon start time and a 2 pm end time for the final day of the rally. Note that membership cards are required to be shown at all rallies.

All Avon Group T C rallies, shall be subject to any Covid 19 restrictions and are to be prebooked (UOS). as voted on at the AVON Group 2021 AGM,

Membership Cards must be shown when arriving and booking in at all Rallies.  As a minimum all TC rally venues will have fresh water, grey water and toilet emptying facilities and unless otherwise stated, own sanitation will always be required. (See individual rally page for any additional facilities available at a rally venue). 

 
We do our best to ensure that the information shown for each rally is accurate and up to date. It may be subject to change as plans for rallies develop or due to factors beyond our control. Keep an eye on detailed rally page to make sure you have the latest details, If you have any specific questions regards a rally or available facilities, please e-mail the committee rally officers for clarification or assistance.

WARNING for SatNav users. The exact location of Post Code Points does not always coincide with the best approach for larger vehicles to some sites. For example, schools which have repositioned their main entrance. SOLUTION - when you get close use a map and watch for blue MCC signs. A bit of prior research using Google StreetView can sometimes be useful.

Avon Group Mobile Phone: 07510 320636 will be switched on for the duration of each rally.  Members can contact the hosts during the rally period with any queries you may have, or if assistance is required, or you wish to inform the hosts of a late arrival.

​​Your rally officer's put in a lot of time and effort to arrange these rallies for your benefit and it does not seem fair to them or you to have to cancel these rally's.
If everyone hosted one rally - they would only have to do it once every 2 or 3 years ​and help will always be available if you have never hosted before.
