The hall is run and maintained by a dedicated group of Camerton residents; the Camerton Community Hall Committee are all volunteers.
Camerton Community Hall is a community centre for the residents of Camerton parish and neighbourhood; together with the recreation ground/sports field it provides facilities for physical exercise, training, meetings, lectures, classes, camping and other forms of leisure-time activities and entertainment.
Colliers Copse is a wooded area on the west side of the playing field
This is now planted with 50 indigenous tree saplings to create an additional 75% of wooded area, whilst at the same time greatly reducing our carbon footprint. Also, to attract bees, butterflies and a myriad of insect species this area is now seeded with meadow wild flowers, a sight to behold in the spring and summer months
A stunning countryside location...Only 15 minutes from Bath
One hundred metres from the site is an excellent Farm Shop and café.
Less than a mile away in Timsbury, you will find 2 shops selling groceries, milk and newspapers, plus an in-house Post Office. Also, in Timsbury is a chemist and a day-time restaurant, a Dr’s surgery and a Fish & Chip shop.
Camerton and Timsbury both have C of E churches.
You will have two choices if you want a pub for a drink or evening meal. The Seven Stars in Timsbury or The King William, which is just over a mile away in Tunley.
There is a large Tesco store, just over 4 miles away in Midsomer Norton. At Odd Down (on the outskirts of Bath, 4 miles away) there is a Sainsbury supermarket; in Radstock about 3 miles away, is a large branch of the CO-OP.
Directions:
On the A39 from Bristol. turn onto Timsbury Rd, then Bloofield Rd and B3115 to Weeksley Lane in Tmsbury, Camerton Community Hall approx 2.2 miles.
